Dale C. Thomlinson August 30, 1951 - September 29, 2019 After a courageous battle with cancer Dale passed away in the early hours of the morning surrounded by those that he loved most. Dale had an amazing spirit and sense of humour that will be forever missed by his family, friends, and all of Rideau Ferry. Dale leaves behind the love of his life Debra, his children Curtis (Becky) and Amy who were his pride and joy, and his Grandson William who he fought to stay for. He will be remembered with love by his siblings Carl (Lisa), Alden (Mary), and Paulette Lessard, his mother in law Jessie Lackey, sister in laws Shirley and Wendy, brother in law Terry (Tammy) Lackey and his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Dale is predeceased by his parents Roland and Edna, his sister Bonnie Jean Kelly (Joe) his brothers RJ and Norman, father in law Terry Lackey, and brother in law Gerald Lessard. Friends and family of the Thomlinson's are invited to pay respects and celebrate the life of Dale Thomlinson on Wednesday October 9th at CC's On The Rideau located at 1030 Rideau Ferry Rd, Perth, ON K7H 3C7. 2:45 - 5:00 pm Visitation 6:00 pm Service and Celebration of Life You are invited to stay after the service for appetizers, toasts to Dale and sharing of memories. CC's is closed for this private event however the restaurant and bar are open for those that are in attendance. Donations in honour of Dale can made to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West, Perth.
