Phyllis passed away peacefully, in hospital, Ottawa on Tuesday, December 05, 2023 at the age of 79.  Beloved wife for over 61 years of G. E. John (Jack) Code.  Much loved mother of Chris Code (Christine) and Cindy Griffith (Ernie).  Cherished grandmother of Ashley Morin (David), Amber Pook (Jason), Bethany Code, Justin Code (Cassandra), Mike Code and Jonathan Code (Nikki).  Sadly missed by her great-grandchildren Fayth, Grace, Cynthia, Jordie, Alex, Morgan, Riley, Jaron, Elijah, Hayden and Amelia.  Loved sister of Jack Nicholson (Rhea) and will be greatly missed by their children Trisha and Ian and families. She will be deeply missed by her long-time friend and sister-in-law Susan Burchill.  Predeceased by her parents Olive  (nee Dillabough) Nicholson and Robert (Bud) Nicholson.  Fondly remembered by her extended family and many good friends.  Family and friends are invited to celebrate Phyllis’ life on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Bethel Pentecostal Church, 309 County Rd. 29, Smiths Falls at 1:00 p.m. with a reception to follow the service in the church hall.  In memory of Phyllis, donations to the Montague and District Forget-Me-Not Club or Bethel Pentecostal Church would be appreciated.
