Condolences to the Caswell family. I often had conversations with Mr. Caswell on walks along Wesshore Drive out to Hwy 7 and back. He talked about his family's legacy in the area, his relations living at McCulloughs Landing, his neighbours, his long commutes to Gatineau, the family farms there. Fascinating stuff. I hope someone in his family was recording the reminisences. I had a trailer at McCreary's but often walked through McCulloughs and along the road to Hwy 7. Miss him greatly.

Dear Mike and family … very sorry to hear about Jim.
All the hockey lads have great memories of playing with ‘CAS’
Town League,Geritol,Grey Wings, and especially Sunday mornings.
As Dennis Cordick stated that if Jimmy didn’t stop you with his famous ‘sweep’ check he would somehow stop you by ‘other’ ways.
Jim was ‘competitive’ on the ice BUT off the ice he was such a personable, likeable friend to all and will certainly be missed.

My sincere Condolences to Jim's family and friends. We enjoyed many years of Sunday Morning Hockey together, pretending we were any good with a great bunch of lads and enjoying a cold one after. Safe Home, Jim.

Uncle Jim has always been part of the family at the lake. He would pull into the cottage in his truck, after checking the cows. He would stay for a couple of stories and a drink of water.
Uncle Jim was a great uncle to grow up with; he gave great hugs!! My best memory was him teaching me how to ride a bike…..he was as proud as I was ❤️
God bless, Jane Anne Egan

I was lucky to enjoy some of my daily walks alongside Jimmy and learned so much about the land near our homes. A gentleman indeed, so kind and so sweet. Great stories! Rest in Peace.

My sincere condolences to Jim's family and many friends. Heaven knows how many times over so many summers that Jim gave me a "tune-up" when, in my teens, I spent time, lots of time, at the Lake and in the boathouse. In retrospect, I think I am a slightly better person because of him and for that, I will always remember and thank him.

We wish to express our sincere condolences, on Jim's passing. Our memories go back to the '70s at the camp. Both he and Diane were quite a couple. You could tell how much they enjoyed being together. He was kind and gentle, always had a smile for you, and truly enjoyed a good joke. RIP Jim.
Sincerely, John and Mary Calderone
