Fleming, Melvyn D. "Mel" Mel passed away in hospital in Ottawa on Wednesday October 2nd, 2019 at the age of 82 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Margaret "Peggy" (Wilcox) Fleming, sons Randall "Randy" (Lisa Stafford) and Shawn (Carolyn Pack-Fleming), daughter Deborah "Debby" Fleming, his grandchildren, great grandchildren and brother Henry "Hank" (Micheline) Fleming. Mel was predeceased by brother Gerald "Gerry" and his wife Marilyn Fleming. Mel will be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, family and many good friends in the Ottawa, Perth and South Frontenac areas. Family and friends will gather at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth Saturday October 5th, 2019 at 2:00 P.M for a service to honour his life. A reception and sharing of memories will be held following the memorial. In remembrance of Mel, contributions to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or Blue Fish Canada (in support of Mel's passion of local fisheries) would be appreciated
