Obituary of Keith Albert Mabo

Passed away suddenly on Monday, February 19, 2024 while on vacation in Negril, Jamaica at the age of 77.  Keith was the eldest son of the late Alma and Ernie Mabo of Ompah.  Beloved husband and best friend of Elaine (nee Pegg) Mabo of Smiths Falls.  Loving father of Lesley Mabo-Wazny (Robert) of Niagara Falls, Joel (Amanda) Mabo of Lombardy and the late Randy (Joy) Mabo of Arizona and was the step father of the late Chris Millikin.  Keith was a wonderful and adored Grandpa to Ben, Kaleb and Carter Mabo.  Cherished brother of Mick (Yvonne) Mabo, and Donnie (Debbie) Mabo of Morrisburg.  He will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Saralyn Mabo of Ompah, and his brothers-in-law Roland (Anna) Pegg and Brian (Lois) Pegg both of Lombardy.  Keith was also predeceased by his brothers Stan and Terry Mabo.  He will be fondly remembered by his many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and numerous friends.  Family and friends are invited to gather for a Visitation at Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Saturday, October 5th from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.  A Celebration of Life will follow immediately after the Visitation.  Private interment will take place at the Ompah Cemetery on Sunday.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters or to the charity of your choice.
