Thinking of you all today, sorry Charlie & I couldn’t make it xx I first met Jim, Rilla and the family when Mike & I returned to Canada in 2001 on our honeymoon. Jim gave me a bear hug that made me feel immediately welcome into the family. A few corks were pulled that night. It’s such a sad day. I can’t believe we will no longer hear his message on our phone “G’day from Smith Falls”. It’s a huge loss to the family. Rest in Peace Jim. Love Aly xx❤️

Thinking of you at this time Helen and family. I grew up with Jimmy visiting our house in Burlington often and I always thought he was an Uncle but found out he was a cousin. Greg,I was so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing.Would you please pass on my sincere condolences to Helen,and to all of the large Jenkin's family.Jim was a great person who I first met at a military function in downtown Ottawa.My best memory of him was on PEI,when he,you,Greg and I played a round of golf.We had a good time,but if I remember correctly,our scores were nothing to brag about.I know that your Dad will be greatly missed by all of you,but keep in mind that he is now in a better place,and back with your Mom.Take care,and hope to see you on my next trip to Georgetown.Tony Garron

My deepest condolences to you Helen and the Jenkins family on the loss of your loved one.Jim was always a pleasure to meet at the Legion and at all functions at St.Francis Parish and Knights of Columbus.He loved to tease,addressed everyone by name with a smile and was a good organizer.He Will be missed by many.My prayers are with all of you.

As a young 15 year old dating Jim's daughter he could be intimidating. I do not know how but I must have passed the test ... over the years I was lucky to have spent a lot of time with Jim on the river, at the Venosta cottage and the lake house to mention a few places. I will miss you. Rest in peace Eric
