My condolences Martyn to you, your sons and your families. She was taken too soon. I’ve known Katherine for over 40 years. We had some really good times together and some sad times as well. We met in 1979 when we bought our 1st homes in Mississauga. We were there for the birth of each other sons. Life got in the way but we managed to stay in touch one way or another. My kids remember you with great fondness. RIP Katherine. Until we meet again. God bless

My sincere condolences to Martyn and all of the family. We were friends for over 55 years and shared a history that only those of us who started out together so many years ago will ever understand. Katherine was a force to be reckoned with. We will miss her……endless cups of tea, hours on the phone and for being there through the crazy times, the great times and the bad times. Thank you Kathy …..it was a long strange journey and it will be difficult without you. We were the GIRLS…..if you know then you were there. Much love

I am so sorry to hear of Katherine's passing, my thoughts are with you Martyn and your family. Katherine and I served many years on school councils at Martin Street and WI. She was absolutely the most fun to work with and I just loved her fantastic sense of humor and her laugh. She sure had a way about her and the world is a less joyful place with her gone.

My deepest condolences to Martyn, her children, grand kids, mother and brothers and sisters. I knew this crazy special lady for over 50 years. This is so hard. Kath was a sister, friend, a confidant and instigator in many of our younger hijinks. We lived and loved. Time passed. She always strived to help the helpless and underdogs. Her humour was crazy, her laugh infectious. There's so much I still needed to discuss with her. I'll miss her but her presence is strong, just like she was. May we meet again on the other side Kathy. I'm deeply saddened to learn of this. I shared so many great times with Katherine....pizza lunches at WI Dick was our first meeting. Then we enjoyed many years of Lions Lobsterfests, euchre parties, and the last visit was an epic time at Sandbanks. I'm going to miss Katherine and her laugh and easy friendship!!!
