She leaves behind her spouse Walter Last and her three kids, Patsy Teal, Rick (Krista) Strickland and Danny Strickland. Her step sons Bryan Last and Brennan Last. And her sister-in-law Gerri Norris. She was the proud grandmother to Tanya, Cory, Tasha (Archie), Dalton and Reirdan, and great grandmother to William, Alicia, Dawson, Cadence, Katie and many step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Beverley will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and extended family, friends and neighbours. She will be dearly missed by her lifelong friend Marina Murphy. She loved to sew with her sisters (B&B designs), and family was everything to her. No matter who you were if you came into her house she was always ready to feed you and make sure you left with a full stomach. She spent most of her life cooking for others, whether that be at home for her family or at work (at various restaurants, Smiths Falls Golf and Country Club, Burritts Rapids Prison). Bev and Walter were always having friends over or going over to friends’ places to play cards. She enjoyed joking around with her friends Bob Pollard, Barb and Morris Hutchings. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In memoriam donations may be made to the CNIB, or the Alzheimer Society of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville. Arrangements are entrusted to Blair & Son Smiths Falls.
