The family is sad to announce the sudden passing of Vernon Wark on Friday, April 26th, 2024 at his home in Perth. He was born and raised in Watson’s Corners, son of John and Edith (McDougall) Wark. Vernon was the loved husband to Laurie (Bartraw) Wark and father to Ricky (Casey) and Jennifer (Will) and grandfather to Jessica and Emily.
Vernon will be sadly missed by his siblings Victor, Gary (Gloria), Keith (Tracy), Susan (Dave), Judy, Rosie (Billy) and Danny (Tracy) and his in-laws Joe, Jeff (Charlene), Heather (Charlie) and Angela (Randy).
He was predeceased by his parents John and Edith and his sisters Darlene and Norma.
The family wish to say a special thanks to Blair & Son Funeral staff, the first responders, the ambulance, the police, Dr. Dan, sisters Susan, Rose (Billy) and neighbour, close friend Bonnie Cline for the flowers and lunch she provided for the family on Friday and the many phone calls and visits from family and friends. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
