Mary passed away in the Smiths Falls Hospital on Monday May 20th, 2024 at age 98 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Wilfrid Arnoldi; daughter of the late Dr. Walter Hobson and Anna Purtelle and was predeceased by a brother who died in infancy. Mary was the loved mother of Pat Arnoldi of Carleton Place, Kim (Gerry) Augusta of Carp, Mike (Cyndie) Arnoldi of Carleton Place, Anne Arnoldi of Perth, John Arnoldi (late Cathy Johnson) of Lanark, and the late Lorraine. She was sister-in-law of Elizabeth Lance; aunt of Jo Rintoul, Gay Wallace, the late Charles Lance and Joseph Lance. Mary was grandmother of Joe (Jody) LaRocque, Laurie (Josh) Poynter, Pam (Donnie) Bingley, Beau (LeeAnn) Brennan, Jessica (Brandon) Arnoldi, Tim (Sarah) Arnoldi, Chris (Moranda) Johnson, Devin (Katee) Arnoldi and the late Brody Arnoldi; great grandmother of Colby, Porter, Vivian, Zach, Jake, Brook, Bronson, Brock, Maya, Willow and Bowie.
Family and friends will gather for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, Lanark on Monday, May 27th, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. Interment, Sacred Heart Cemetery. A reception in the hall of St Andrews United Church, Lanark will follow from 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. In remembrance donations to the Lanark Lodge Memorial Fund would be appreciated. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
