Valiquette, Leo James Joseph

Leo passed away too soon on May 19^th, 2024.  He is survived by the love of his life, Natalie and his son William.  Leo leaves behind his parents Rene and Sue (Merkley) Valiquette of Brinston, Ontario and brother Mark.  He will be sadly missed by his mother-in-law Iris Cox and brothers and sisters-in-law Colin Gschwind and Tara Cox, Andrew Cox and Angele Bissonette, Emily Cox and Matt Leben and two nieces and five nephews.  He will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends.  Leo was an avid writer and reader.  He was a freelance writer and marketer for over a decade.  Leo had his first book published in 2021, “The Bane of All Things”.  He was a trusted colleague and friend to Francis Moran and many others.  A mentor to many in the writing field.  Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West, Perth, On  on Monday, May 27^th, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.  The service will be held Tuesday May 28^th, 2024 in the Chapel at 1:30 P.M. with a reception to follow in the Family Centre.
