My condolences and prayers to Wynne's family. I enjoyed interacting with her while she was at Carolina Retirement Residence when I worked there as a server. She was a sweet and kind woman.

An unforgettable lady and an amazing Art teacher. Her warmth, kindness, and passion for teaching will always be remembered. She was an inspiration to many of us who were fortunate to attend her memorable classes at P.D.C.I. Her legacy and influence lives on in her grateful students.

I so love this picture of my father, John Gibb-Carsley, and Wynne. It was their last visit together. (Thank you, Cathy Buffam for arranging the visit and taking the photo.) Dad died not long after, on April 26th. Wynne was a good friend to my dad and my mom, Natalie. They were all teachers together at PDCI (Mom and Wynne both taught art.) Dad and Wynne became good, caring, and kind friends to each other in recent years, and I am so thankful for her solid presence in his life. I admired Wynne’s courage to travel and live overseas after retirement (an inspiration!) and her integrity and independence. She was a woman of substance. I hold all who loved her close in my heart. ❤️

My condolences to Wynne's family and friends who will miss her dearly. I worked with Wynne at PDCI for many years and her appreciation of art and her students was apparent to all. We all loved to hear about her post retirement travels and admired her adventurous spirit. Our annual PDCI ladies summer lunch at Wynne’s beautiful lakeside home was a wonderful way to keep in touch and share a laugh. We have all been enriched by her presence in our lives.

So shocked to hear of Wynne's passing. We shared so many wonderful times together, teaching, lunches, visits at the cottage and our wonderful "culture excursions"! My condolences to the family. Wynne was a role model and an inspiration all the years I knew her.

My sincere sympathy to Wynne's family and her special Godchild, Cathy
Wynne was a dear friend, I first met this kind, thoughtful lady at Dream Weavers and then doing exercises with the Buttercup Girls at Yoga Dance. I was always amazed how this fit looking lady wanted to exercise. . Wynne was a neighbour so we often drove together. We shared many conversations. Wynne was an interesting conversationalist. We were always interested in . knowing about each others lives. One time a deer ran into the side of my car.. Wynne was sitting in the front seat. She was unable to open the car door. Good thing Wynne was in good shape because she had to crawl over the console to get out! I have so many precious memories. I will always cherish times together, especially the last time at Dream Weavers, Blessings

My deepest condolences to “Mrs. White’s” family.
She was my grade nine english teacher, and grade eleven art teacher at P&DCI nearly 40 years ago. She was always kind, and always willing to share knowledge, and encouragement.
Rest in peace, Dear Lady.

I was introduced to Wynne through our mutual friend Jane, and we visited several times her at her cottage and in Perth. In 2018, I was blessed to have her as my main walking buddy on a hiking trip along Hadrian's Wall in England. Wynne was easy-going, easy-to-please, had a great sense of humour and was an amazing hiker. We enjoyed great conversations as we travelled and both enjoyed the historical buildings and attractions along the journey. Oh, and that glass of wine at the end of a long day. "Cheers", Wynne. I will always treasure my time with you. Sincere condolences to the family.
