Ferguson, Doris Marie June 18, 1921 - November 3, 2019 Peacefully in hospital with the love of her family by her side on November 3, 2019. Doris was the beloved wife of the late Carl Ferguson for 73 years. Cherished and much loved mother of Carolyn (Bob Hall), Donna (Tom Ennis), Vivian (Frank Coleman) and Lynn (Keith O'Neil). Cherished and adored grandma to 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Howard and Annie Cousins, brother Argyle, brother-in-law Howard Ferguson, sister and brother-in-law Evelyn (Herb Ballantyne) and son-in-law Ken Warrington. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Bernice Ferguson, nieces, nephews, the Cummings family and all her extended family and friends. Doris was a member of the Maberly Agricultural Society, the Maberly United Church and the Bethel Women's Institute, serving in many capacities. Doris and Carl lived on the family farm in Maberly for 59 years leaving many memories. She will be remembered as Mother and Grandma to many. She was widely loved and respected as her personality touched and impacted many lives. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Friday at 10:00 A.M. Followed by interment in Crawford Cemetery. In remembrance of Doris, memorial donations to the Maberly Agricultural Society or the South Sherbrooke Fire Dept, Maberly, Ontario would be appreciated.
