Obituary of Sarah Danielle Darlene McNicol
On June 21, 2024, the world lost a beautiful soul. “Ivy” Sarah Danielle Darlene McNicol (Boucher), passed away at age 27, with her family by her side, after a long struggle with a rare and relentless cancer.
Diagnosed and declared untreatable, with a fearless spirit Sarah accepted her fate and carried on with strength, grace and a determination to travel as much as possible in the time that she had left. From Paris to Amsterdam and New Orleans, she saw the world with her closest friends.
With her beautiful smile, jet black hair and love of everything ‘spooky’, Sarah showed unwavering resolve from a very young age. She never shied away from speaking her mind or defending her beliefs and she tackled life’s challenges with fierce independence.
A talented photographer, she was able to see the beauty in life. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her and the countless memories and moments she captured through the magic of her camera lens.
Sarah leaves behind her mother Christine, brother Nick, Nana and Papa (Darlene and Dan McNicol), Uncle Adam (Amber) McNicol, Aunt Leanne Purdon, cousin Anna Purdon, her children Ashton and Michael, and recently deceased father John Boucher and cousin Nathan Murray.
Forever missed by her cherished fur baby Kenai.
