Gillies, Donelda Jean Donelda passed away in the Smiths Falls Hospital on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the age of 87 years. She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Pearl (Williams) Gillies, her sister Evelyn George and brothers Norman and Ivan Gillies. Donelda will be sadly missed by her siblings Stanley (late Ethel) Gillies, Ada (late Ken) Trombley, Russell (Joan) Gillies, Clarence (late Margaret) Gillies, Larry (late Linda) Gillies, her numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. She retired from the R.C.A.F. following over 35 years of service and owned and managed with her sister Ada, Donada's General Store in McDonalds Corners. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore Street West in Perth on Tuesday, October 29th, 2019 from 9:30 A.M. until service in the Chapel at 10:30 A.M. followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. Those wishing are asked to consider a memorial donation to the Poppy Fund, Branch 244, Royal Canadian Legion, Perth.
