My sincerest sympathy to Mr. Baxter's family and friends. I only ever met Mr. Baxter once but he made a very big impression on me. A couple of years ago my husband and I and our friends Wally and Candy Yuill went into Peter's Restaurant in Perth for lunch. Mr. Baxter was sitting at the table across from us and we all started chatting together. He told us who he was, a bit about his life and that he was on his way to Lanark Lodge to visit his wife. After we had finished our lunch he ordered a piece of pie for us as he thought we should end our meal with a delicious piece of pie. What a thoughtful and kind gesture and we have mentioned him often since then. I will always remember him as a very kind, thoughtful and interesting gentleman. So sorry for your loss.
