Obituary of Robert Simpson Fyfe

Fyfe, Robert Simpson  
May 22, 1937 – July 20, 2024

Robert passed away in the Perth hospital on Saturday July 20th, 2024.  Dad (Gpa) will be missed by his girls Kathy (Gordon Bell), Sandy (John Baarda), Wendy (David DeRouen), his grandchildren Ishkara Bell, Greg Bell (Brianna) and great grandson Leon Robert, Karyn Bell, Madelyn Fyfe (Otis), Melanie Fyfe Baarda (Dawson), and Morgan Fyfe Baarda, his brother in law Jim Todd (Debbie).  He will also be missed by long time close friends Ron and Norma Hambrook and Ron and Merla Lawruk.  Predeceased by his wife Jean (Todd), brother Alex Fyfe and sister in law Anne Fyfe, sister in law Glenda Todd and grandson Michael Baarda.  

Dad enjoyed travel, golf and most of all spending time with his family.  He will be dearly missed. Special mention to the Perth Hospital for their exceptional care, his GP Dr. Macdonald, Natalia from Sweatergang, Meghan Coutts, Bayshore PSW’s Ashley and Kelly, and Lanark County Community Paramedic Program for all your help with his care over the last year. 

Per his wishes, there will be no funeral but a celebration of life will be held at the home of Kathy, 113 Coleman Drive, Perth, Ontario Saturday, Sept 21st, 2024 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, the time of year he enjoyed the most.  In lieu of flowers, for those that wish, donations to Community Home Support, Lanark County would be greatly appreciated, www.chslc.ca.  Dad sat on the board of this organization that supports seniors and adults with life limiting disabilities for several years as chairperson.  Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth
