So sorry to hear of Pats passing. I met Pat while I worked at the hospital, she instantly gave off the sweetest and kindest personality. Pat had a sense of humour that anyone would be drawn to, and her smile lit up the room. Whenever we met up, she would always give me a hug and always a laugh.
The world has lost a gem, and I will be that much better for just having known her.

I knew Pat only for a brief period of time. I always felt better about myself when we parted company. Her love of family, nature and the cottage was obvious. She dealt with health adversities like no one else. She talked about them and then moved on to happier stories. I am so sorry for your loss.

'Angels walk among us' I am told.....well, Pat Crampton was an angel. Everything about her was kind, caring, respectful. She could enter a room in her quiet way but you could feel her presence immediately. She made a difference in this world and she will be missed by many, many people. When I heard that Pat had surrendered to the afterlife It made me sad to think our community has lost such a kind and loving soul. Just a short interaction with Pat and you always felt better about yourself.
Lao Tsu said that if you give a hungry man a fish, you feed him for a day, but if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.
When it comes to kindness and love Pat taught us how to fish.
May she live on in our hearts as we try to continue her work in kindness. None of us may reach her level, but perhaps together we can continue fishing for her community that needs us more than ever now that she is gone.
Barrie, we feel your profound loss and wish you strength moving forward.

The world is a little emptier now without the incomparable Pat Crampton in it. She was so very kind and accepting, with just the right amount of feistiness and good humour. Though she'll be missed, there is no doubt that she will live on through her children, grandchildren. and great grandchildren. Godspeed, Mrs. C., Godspeed.
