Greer, Carl E. Carl passed away peacefully at Lanark Lodge, Perth on Thursday November 7th, 2019 at the age of 93 years. He was predeceased by his parents Mahalia (MacCharles) and William "Bill” Greer, his beloved wife in July 2019, Margaret M. (Ennis) Greer, daughter-in-law Linda and his siblings Ken (Eleanor) and Eileen Greer and in infancy, brother Clarence Greer. Carl was the loved and respected father of Wayne (Silma), Robert (Patty) Greer and Kathy (David Mahoney). He will be sadly missed by grandchildren Amie (Ryan), Allison, Jennifer, Leanne (Aaron), Mark (Nathalie) and Katelyn (Anthony); great grandchildren Tayler, Desmond, Calder, Finn, Matthew, Aston, Tyler and Marlowe, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St., W., Perth on Tuesday November 12th, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. followed by reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. Following the reception, the interment will be held in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Brooke. In remembrance of Carl, memorial donations to St. Stephen’s Cemetery or St. James Anglican Church would be appreciated. The Greer family would like to extend special thanks to the care givers in the Maples area of Lanark Lodge for the outstanding care provided to Carl.
