I am writing from Cooksville Legion in Mississauga. Jim was a member of our branch for 24 years. I kept in touch with Jim over the years since l became membership chair and now President, calling every few weeks asking how he was doing and if there was anything the branch could do for him. He said even though he lived in Smith Falls, Cooksville would always be his branch. When Canada celebrated 150 yrs l sent Jim the commerative medal to wear and thanked him for his service. I am sorry l found out today that Jim had passed his away, too late to attend his service. Thank you for your service Jim, rest in peace. Lest we forget. Thea Roeleveld - President RCL 582

My Deepest Condolences to Arnette & Charlene & all of Jim's Family & Friends. I knew Jim quite well as I Lived across the hall from him in Smiths Falls. We sure did have fun as we would gather in the lobby every evening at 7; 00 P.M. to play cards there would be me ( Linda ) Carol, Lois, Della, Jim, sometimes Derrick, Glen & Wendy, & Gail. You are well missed by all who had the honor of knowing you. I Love you Jim & I always have R.I.P. My Dear Friend. Gone but Not Forgotten, Forever Loved & Forever Missed.
