Obituary of Marie Teresa Fritz

Very peacefully on Saturday, September 14th, 2024 Marie passed away at Carleton Place Hospital at the age of 84. She will be sadly missed by her son Anthony, daughter-in-law Janice, two grandchildren Bryce and Aiden, niece Shannon, nephews John, Noel, and Frank, great-nephew and great-niece Kieran and Traleena, best friend Thersa, and many, many extended family members in Ireland. She was predeceased by her loving husband Fred. She came to Canada at the age of 19. She obtained her Nurse's Aide Designation and worked in the field for many years until she helped start a family business with her husband Fremar (Dollar Plus, Perth). She was a lifetime member of the Roman Catholic Church in Perth and served as head of the Catholic Women's League for many years. 
Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth, on Saturday, September 21st, 2024, from 10:00am until 11:45am. Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. John's Catholic Church, 38 Wilson St. E., Perth at 12:00pm. Interment to follow at St. John's Parish Cemetery. A reception and celebration of Marie's life will be held at the Blair & Son Family Reception Centre following the burial. In honour of her memory, she would ask that you do something kind for someone, help someone in need, or reconnect with a distant family member.
