Obituary of Hannah Kaitlynn MacFarlane
It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Hannah on Thursday, October 24, 2024, and in her mind, reached the age of 10. She was the cherished daughter of Matthew and Candace (nee Pronyk) MacFarlane. She was an adored sister to Emery and Eli MacFarlane. She will never be forgotten by her grandparents Robert and Leica (nee McNeil, Desarmia) MacFarlane and Sheila (nee Miller, Pronyk) and St.clair Ifill. Hannah was predeceased by her maternal grandfather Sheldon Pronyk, her paternal grandmother Susan MacFarlane (nee Greene) and paternal aunt Brittany MacFarlane. She is forever cherished by her paternal aunts, uncles and cousins; David and Jaime (Crosbie) MacFarlane and their children Emma and Mason MacFarlane, Bobby and Sara (Vansickle) MacFarlane and their children Sam, Riley and Joey MacFarlane, Josh and Kelly (Johnston) MacFarlane and their children Parker and Henry MacFarlane, Katie (MacFarlane) and Graham Smith and their son Colby Wilkins-Smith, Ben and Karelyn (Kelly) MacFarlane and their children Freya Evoy and Desmond MacFarlane, Brian and Alana (MacDonald) MacFarlane and their children Maive and Jayce MacFarlane and Ethan and Ashley (Haining) MacFarlane and their children Brysyn, Cameron, Daniel, Finnigan and Gabriella MacFarlane. Forever cherished by her maternal aunts, uncles and cousins; Amanda (Pronyk) and Rob Adams and their children Jackson, Karson, Hudson, Anastasia and Tyson Adams and Bethany (Pronyk) and Nick Klassen. She will never be forgotten by her numerous extended cousins, great aunts and uncles, great grandparents and friends in the surrounding communities. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls, on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will take place at the Smiths Falls Free Methodist Church on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Wolford Cemetery. If wishing to send flowers, the family requests that the flowers emulate Hannah’s life, which was filled with bright fun-loving colours. If choosing a memorial donation in honour of Hannah’s tender heart and compassionate spirit, we would like to request monetary donations are sent to Granite Ridge Education Centre. All flowers, donations and messages of support are greatly appreciated by her family. Hannah’s family would like to thank so many members of the public for their outpouring of love, prayers and offering to help in so many ways.
