Huffman, Thomas “Tom” William
Thomas (Tom) William Huffman, passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Heart Institute on October 26th 2024, his 48th birthday, with loved ones by his side.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Tom and Kay Huffman and Lloyd and Vera Austin, as well as his stepfather, Fred Renaud. Tom was the son of Thomas Huffman and Debbie (Brad Switzer). Loved brother of Christine (Paul) Thomas, Tami Huffman, Gord Leeds, Christina (Adam) Hull, Carrie (James) Renaud, Jessica (Ian) Coleman, and Emma Switzer.
Father to Craig Bernhart, Nichole McLean, Katelynn Huffman as well as his those he considered his step-children, Tristan, Baileigh, Ronan, Madeleine and Paige Whitteker, Stephanie Beaudette and Lucas St. Aubin. Tom was also grandpa to Dawson, Killian, Hayden, Hazel, Tye, Jack and Owan.
Tom will be missed by all those that knew him including Melissa Whitney, Amanda Whitteker, his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at the ICCU unit of the Ottawa Heart Institute for the care and compassion they provided the family while Tom was a patient there.
