Dear Theresa ....we are so very sad to hear of Murray’s passing. Our hearts are heavy for your sorrow as we witnessed so often the wonderful love you shared. We so enjoyed being neighbours while we lived at 9 Lewis and always enjoyed any opportunity to exchange friendship with you both. What a beautiful blessing for you to share 62 years of marriage. We will be unable to join you at Murray’s celebration of life but you and your family will be in our prayers❤️

I am so very sorry for your loss. Murray was always a very laid back, community oriented man with a big heart. I know that we all will greatly miss him at Mill on the Park.
It sounds like you,Theresa, have shared many exciting adventures globally together. I can only hope that these fabulous memories and others will help you through these difficult times in some way. I also hope that your sons share equally meaningful memories and can keep those in your hearts. Much love and sympathy to all of you.

Hi Theresa Rob Jim and Gord. I am really sorry about the sad news. Murray was always so generous hosting us at the cottage when Rob came back for visits and we have many fond memories of Black Lake. Theresa, I cannot imagine how tough this must be for you to lose your partner since your teenage years. Maybe take some comfort in his spirit surviving in the Philips boys - hard work, an ability to get stuff done, fairness and honesty, intelligence, and that wicked Philips sense of humour.

I just heard of Murray's swift passing from my sister Janet and brother Jim. I think fondly of our days at OTC and coffee above the old Beamish store. Although we have not seen each other in decades, I think fondly of those times and wish you sincere condolences.
