Johnstone, Kathleen V. (Peebles) Peacefully at Lanark Lodge, Perth on Monday, October 10th, 2011 in her 90th year. Predeceased by her parents Florence (McLaughlin) and Edward Johnson, her son John Peebles and ex-husband Rev. David Peebles. Devoted mother of Vaughn (Wayne) Jelliffe, Kent Peebles, Mark (Diane) Peebles, Jane (Wayne) Paul and Matthew Peebles. Beloved grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Kate had a wonderful sense of adventure. She was brave and funny and kind. Above all, she never wavered in her complete devotion to those she loved. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Saturday, October 15th, 2011 from 1:00 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 P.M. immediately followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. Interment will then take place in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Watson's Corners. In remembrance, contributions to the Parkinson Society Canada would be appreciated.
