Kerfoot, John D. "Jack" Passed away peacefully in hospital, Smiths Falls on Sunday, January 22, 2012 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Violet (nee Lester). Loving father of Ronald (Anita) of Rideau Lake and Donald (Vicki) of Winnipeg. Cherished grandfather of Julie, Jennifer, Jill, Danny and Donnie. Jack is survived by his sisters Reta (the late Joe) Warwick of Vancouver, and Ruth (the late Jack) Cameron of Smiths Falls; as well as his brothers Clarence (Lieta) of Smiths Falls, Stanley (Norma) and Robert (Jean) all of Ottawa. He is predeceased by his brothers Bill and Arnold Kerfoot and his sister Joyce Myles. Jack will be fondly remembered by his brother-in-law Len Myles, his sisters-in-law June and Della Kerfoot and his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will follow on Friday in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund.
