Reynolds, Melvin L. (veteran of WWII, retired from Rideau Regional Centre) In hospital in Smiths Falls on Friday, March 2nd, 2012 at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of Lillian (Kerr Ireton Balfour) Reynolds; stepfather of Jim (Deb) Ireton and Sheila (Marc) Saint-Yves, step-grandfather of Heather (Jeremy) and Christopher. Loved father of Bonnie Jean (Jim) Robeson of Gananoque, Brent of Ottawa, Glenn (Kelly) of North Bay and Sharon (David) Green of Westport; grandfather of Anthony (Katie), James, Kyle (Jamie), Christopher, Jamie Lea and Nolan. Dear brother of Eldon and Garnet (Lynn), he was predeceased by his first wife Audrey Beryl (Douglas), 2 brothers and 3 sisters. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and many good friends. Funeral service will be held in St. James Anglican Church, corner of Harvey & Drummond Streets, Perth on Wednesday, March 7th, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. followed by a reception in St. James Hall. Interment will then be held in Hillcrest Cemetery, Smiths Falls. In remembrance, contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or Memorial Fund of choice would be appreciated.
