We will always remember Ineke as a lovely and fun person with whom we shared many great times playing bridge, visiting your log cabin and seeing Perth ON, at our home in Perth Western Australia. I am so sorry to hear of Ineke's passing. I have many happy memories of time at your house in Winnipeg, and how welcome I was made to feel - and being introduced to a big wheel of Edam cheese and "sprinkles" on toast (yum!). When I did the post- university tour of Europe I spent several days with Ineke and Michael at the end of my trip; I was feeling homesick, and even though it had been several years since I had seen them, they were so welcoming and made me feel right at home. She was a wonderful warm person.

Ineke and I Met in 1965
Ineke was my very first good friend having arrived in Canada just one month before. Her kindness to me was beyond measure in every way, introducing me to the Canadian way of life and including me when visiting her many friends etc. She was delightful in every way. Because of our friendship our two families spent many happy times together and I am pleased to say the friendship still continues with our sons and daughters. Wonderful memories I shall treasure forever. From Joyce in England.
