Our sincere condolences and love goes to all of the family members of Aileen Patterson. Aileen's death while not a surprise in coming at this time in her long life does leaves a big emotional void in all of our lives. Aileen's gentle and gracious nature endeared Aileen to all who are blessed to meet and get to know Aileen during her long life. I have so many positive memories of yearly family gatherings at the Aileen's and Gerald's Patterson home that go back over 50 years. I know several generations of Patterson relatives and family friends will have their own favourite remembrances spent in the presence of Aileen and her large extended family. In our shared grief may we now draw some comfort from the fact that Aileen is no longer physically suffering and is now united with her Creator and the saints who have gone before her.
