Kealey, Donald Alban Suddenly at his home Donald Alban Kealey passed away on September 12th, 2013 at the age 81. He was predeceased by his loving wife Margaret (Moore) Kealey, his parents Alban and Eva (Donaghue) Kealey and his brother and sister-in-law Glen and Juliette Kealey. Donald was the cherished father to John (Linda Frederick) Kealey, Michael Kealey, Bernard (Keiko) Kealey, Anne Kealey and Dan Kealey. He was the much loved grandfather to Hanna and Zen Kealey. He will be sadly missed by his brother James (Linda) Kealey and sister Maureen (Robert) Brown, his friend and companion in his later years, Margaret McDonald and many relatives and friends. He was a passionate and popular high school English teacher. He taught at Rideau High School in the 60's, 70's and 80's. Eventually he moved to McArthur High before his retirement in 1986. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West, Perth on Thursday, October 3rd, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service in the Chapel at 5:00 o’clock. Friends are also welcome to gather at the Kelly Funeral Home (1255 Walkely Road) on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
