Pam, Danny and family, take time to breath during this very rough time in your life….time will not heal your pain as they say but will help you come to terms with your loss. Try to remember the beautiful life Uncle Gerry lived and what he brought to your life…..take hold of those happy thoughts as they will get you through. Mom always spoke well of your Dad, and told me a story about him that has always stood strong in my heart. When Mom went into labour with me, she was a mother of three young children already and struggling through each day…on this day Dad was not around and she told me how Uncle Gerry took care of her in his absence….how he took her to the hospital and stayed there until for as long as she needed him. Uncle Gerry helped me come into this world….I will never forget his kindness …Love you all xoxox

I didn't know Gerry very well, but I did have occasions to spend some fun loving times with him; whether at a local legion or Doug & Pam's annual hootenanny, Gerry was always there to sing a song, laugh along with or tell a joke!
It was a pleasure and honor.
All my condolences to his family, friends and those hearts that he touched.
Rest in peace Gerry!

Pam,Danny & families, I have so many, many great memories of your Dad from most of my life, babysitting @ your home in Richmond, our families snowmobiling & cookouts, "all nighters" on the Mississippi Lake, lots of money won & lost playing 'burn'. He was a fun loving man, with huge hugs. I wish I could be there with you on the 8th, you were so supportive to us last March when we went through the pain you're feeling right now. Time does lessen your suffering, but that hole in your life will always be there. Treasure your memories. With our sincere condolences to all, Lynne & Jeff

I worked with Danny and Gerald when I was younger and I have to say it was one of the best jobs I ever had. I learned so much from Gerald. He was a generous man who always lent a hand when you needed it. He wasn't afraid to work hard to get the job done. And he wasn't afraid to have a little fun, too. And despite his tough exterior, those who knew him understood what a compassionate man he was. Truly a great inspiration in my life. He help mold my character and work ethic. Never any patience, but a lot of love. He will most definitely be missed but can never ever be forgotten.
