Ferguson, Gerald Hartley, Passed away peacefully on January 24, 2014 at the Smiths Falls Hospital. Cherished partner of Jean Mulville, loving father of Pam (Doug), Dan (Melissa) and much loved grandfather of Hailey, Kyla and Courtney. Predeceased by daughter Angela Dawn, his mother Dorothy Smith and infant brother Elwin. Loving brother of Jeanne (Dale), Marie (David), Dianne (Jim), Lee (Mary), Cheryl (Kyle), Carol (Darren), Rick (Suzy). Much loved uncle to many. Gerry was well known around the Richmond area where he lived most of his life and owned and operated a construction company for many years. He spent the later part of his years in Smiths Falls where he spent a lot of time with Jean’s family, which was like his own, Cathy (Gord) Robin (Hugh) Kim (Bob) Mary Jane (Dale) Terri (Gord) Jon, Stephanie (Paul) and Becky. He became poppa to many. He loved music, dancing and could be heard over the years singing with various bands or singing karaoke at a house party. Special thanks to Jean’s family. A celebration of life will be held at the Richmond Legion (6430 Ottawa St. Richmond) on Saturday February 8, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Graveside funeral to be held in the spring.
