Hastings, Christopher In loving memory of Chris Hastings who passed away suddenly at his home in Perth on Friday January 9, 2009. Chris was the beloved husband and best friend of Amber (neé Truelove), the loving son of John and Else Hastings, loving grandson of Edith Johnsen of Perth and Anne Hastings of St. Lambert, PQ, nephew of Brian and Sarah Dunfield of Mississauga, Antoinette Hastings of Montreal, PQ and cousin of James Hastings. Chris will also be sadly missed by his father and mother in-law, Brian and Sharlyne Truelove, his brother-in-law Michael (Melody Fitzgerald) and his dear friends Cole (Genevieve) Walker, Robert (Corry) Foley, Derek Hill and all the members of his Corps. Chris enjoyed working with youth through the Cadets Corps and was very dedicated to his Regiment in the Military Reserves. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Monday, January 12th, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. Interment, St. Stephens Cemetery, Brooke. In remembrance, contributions to the 585 Rideau Squadron, Smiths Falls Air Cadets would be appreciated.
