My favorite teacher! Grade 5, Queen Elizabeth School. I think Mrs. McCrum treated us as her own family. She was no nonsense, very fair, kind, and I had a lot of respect for her. A lovely lady. I was past her home on the Bay Rd., not long ago and was wondering how she was. My condolences to her family , I’m sure she will be missed a lot. RIP Mrs. McCrum.

To Kate and the McCrum family, sending sincere condolences to you all at this difficult time. Kate, we have not seen each other in many years but I remember when you lived on Cornelia Street and ran into your Mom a number of years back and she caught me up with what all her family was doing. Remember all the good memories of your Mom, a life well lived and a lady who leaves a great legacy. Take good care.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss today. Mrs. McCrum had a big impact on my life. She was a teacher of mine for a couple of grades at Queen Elisabeth School in the 60’s. I have a deep admiration for all my teachers as I learned and grew as a teen and adult. I became a teacher and ended my career 2 years ago as a high school principal. Thank you Mrs. McCrum for impacting my life as a child who would develop to appreciate the importance of impacting children of future generations.

Kate, Lorana, Philip - all the McCrum family. I was very privileged to know your Mom & spend time with her. I am lucky to have a wonderful piece of her art work in my living room. I would always let her know how much pleasure that 'Snow' picture gives me. She was a cheery caring individual. She will be missed. I am very sorry.
