Last Saturday when I opened the Ottawa Citizen I saw the obituary notice and was overcome by a flood of sadness at the loss of Rev Don. That initial sadness disappeared when I remembered the wonderful years at Dundas Centre United Church and the Rev. Don was now at home with the Lord.
Please know that I will be keeping Rev.Don and the family in my prayers over the next days and weeks.

Paul and I had the pleasure of being married by Rev.Joyce,on Dec.4,1982 at Westminister United in Windsor. His kindness is warmly thought of today.
We were young and his gentle guidance was a great start to our happy marriage.
Our love and prayers are with your family at this sad time,I hope wonderful memories help you through your grief.

My thoughts are with all of you at this time. You father gave me a strong faith which has lasted and supported me through difficult times when I attended St. James in Ottawa. You are fortunate to have had him for such a long time.

How well I remember seeing you on Sunday mornings before service at Trinity United Church and having our brief chats. Your gentle tap on my shoulder and wonderful smile to meet my gaze as I turn to greet you. You have been missed. I am so sorry to hear about Don's passing. My warmest thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Keep well and don't forget to look after yourself.
