Rev. H. Donald Joyce May 10, 1919 – August 17, 2009 Peacefully at the Great War Memorial Hospital in Perth, Ontario, on Monday, August 17th, 2009, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Jo, father of Peter, David, Michael and Paul, and father-in-law of Kacey, Catherine and Isabel. He will also be sadly missed by 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Don was ordained by the United Church in 1943, and served across Canada for nearly 60 years, notably in Neville, Kindersley and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and London, Ottawa, Windsor and Niagara Presbytery, Ontario. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul’s United Church in Perth on Saturday August 29th at 11 am, followed by a reception at the home of Paul & Isabel Joyce. The family is deeply grateful for the care Don received at the Great War Memorial Hospital in Perth, and contributions to the Great War Memorial Foundation would be appreciated.
