Sincere condolences to the Olesen family. When we worked with Mel at Nortel, he was a great friend and role model. He had the courage and integrity to always say what needed saying (even if it wasn't the answer that management wanted to hear). Mel made a big impact on me and influenced how I chose to act during the course of my career, and to this day, I always make sure that I have spelled a person's name correctly, thanks to Mel.
Mel often regaled with stories about you all. I am sure this is a sad and dark time but it must have been a wonderful journey.
