Obituary of Reta Burke

Burke, Reta J. (nee Burns)

Reta passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family at Lanark Lodge, Perth on Monday, November 30th, 2020 at the age of 76 years.

She was predeceased by her parents Ferguson and Helen (Wright)  Burns, her husband Russell Burke and her brother Sterling Burns.  Reta will be sadly missed by her children Brian, Norma Jean and Barry, sisters Lillian (Ray) Bowes and Lois (Glen) Wark and her nine grandchildren.  She will be fondly remembered by her brother–in-law Steve Burke and sisters-in-law Mona Burns, Louise Burke and Barb Renaud, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.  Reta was predeceased by sisters-in-law Shirley Ashby and Vie Hawley and brother-in-law Tom, Bob and Jim Burke..

Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St., W., Perth on Friday December 4th, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M.  The funeral service will be held privately by invitation for the family on Saturday, December 5th, 2020 at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow in the Franktown Cemetery.  In remembrance of Reta, donations to the Memorial Fund of Lanark Lodge or the Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated.  Reta’s family wish to thank all the caring people at Lanark Lodge for the compassion and professional care she received.
