Obituary of Doug Devries

Devries, Douglas John
Peacefully, with his loving family by his side, Doug passed away at the Ottawa General Hospital on Monday, July 19th, 2021 at the age of 62. Doug was the beloved husband and best friend of Buhle. He was the loving father of Rebecca (Jason), Ellie (Jesse), Tim, Mandy (Duke) and Sindiso and the cherished grandfather of Jabu, Oliver, Cassie and Grace. Doug was the dear brother of Pat, Debbie, Grace, Betty and Bill. 
He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, but most of all, by his 2 large, furry boys Witze and Watze whom he adored and who adored him. He will be joining in heaven his mother (Heidi) & father (Henry) and brothers (Stuart & Walter).
Friends are invited to join the family in honouring Douglas' life at the Blair & Son Funeral Home 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Saturday, July 24th, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm.
