My deepest sympathy to The Coutts family with the loss of your father, & grandfather, Murray.
I extend my thoughts and feelings to your family. I have very fond memories of Uncle Murray. I was fortunate and very grateful to have been able to meet Uncle Murray in person along with my many cousins a few years ago. I will treasure those times.
To be honest, I didn’t quite understand or appreciate uncle Murray when I was a child or as a young adult. But, as I became older, I realized what an amazing person he was. Although we lived in different provinces, he would always call and check on me, just to be sure I was doing fine. Uncle Murray always made me feel wanted and like family, he had a great sense of humour that would make me laugh. I will always treasure all the chats on the phone and will miss his laugh that always made my day. My only regret was that I never got to say goodbye and I still feel like I didn’t tell him how much I loved him enough.
The one thing I know is that Uncle Murrays legacy lives on in the many lives he has affected, especially mine.
I read this somewhere and feel this is an appropriate place to say this, “I know that even though he’s gone, he is still there with us, in the leaves of the trees that he planted in the fruits that bloom in full swing in the season, in the shade of the enormous tree that we all so dearly love”.

A sad day to hear of Murray’s passing. My sincere condolences to the entire family.
My last conversation with Murray was to wish him a Happy Birthday on his last big Birthday. In the middle of our chat he interrupted telling me that there were a whole bunch of fire trucks coming up the lane. What a surprise it was to him and a very fitting tribute. Not many get a fire truck parade on their Birthday, in this case well deserved.

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Murray's passing. Ron always kept me up to date on Murray and Kaye and knew he was in hospital but didn't expect this. My last real sit down visit with them was at Irene Spence's 90th Birthday celebration. My Mom and Kaye were always good friends. Treasure your wonderful memories of family times. Murray was a kind and gentle-man.
