I'm very saddened to hear of Don's passing. Was on many a bike ride and attended many a rally in years gone by with Don and friends. Don either had me wanting to give him a slap or give him a hug when I was around him! lol I'm remembering the time he had bought an old hearse. Remember thinking at the time "oh man won't Don get a chuckle out of all the cars that will be pulling over thinking there is a funeral procession coming only to see a long bearded biker in the drivers seat as it passed them" Well......I was one of those cars that pulled over one day on my way to Franktown! That was one of the days I wanted to SLAP him! I can still vividly hear him snickering the first time we met face to face after that incident! Crossed paths with Don a few years ago at a local bar and we had a great ole chat about old friends, rally's attended, and our present lives in general. That was a day I HUGGED him! Rest in peace ya big ole teddybear! Kim Taylor
