Obituary of Donald Thomas Flinn

Flinn, Donald T.

Don passed away quietly and peacefully at the Smiths Falls Hospital on Monday, December 27, 2021, with his beloved daughters and family by his side. Donnie is the son of Richard and Eva (nee white) Dopson.  Loving and supportive father of Tina (Hal) Hughes and Dawn (Ian) Traynor. Cherished grandfather of Dalton (Lindsay), Tain, Carter, Eva Mae, Sawyer and Scarlett. Adored Great-Grandpa of Rowan Marie.  Donnie was predeceased by his father Thomas Flinn and his sister Karen Molyneaux and his brother-in-law Mike Molyneaux. 

Donnie was a true legend and was blessed to live many lives as brother of the Free Masons, and Past Master of Sussex Lodge #5, brethren of the Tunis Shriners, and was the founder of Pike Falls Classic.  Don’s passion in life was hitting an open highway, on two wheels with the wind at his back and sunshine on his face.

Don lived life to its fullest traveling the open roads, spending time with friends and family and always giving back to his community. He was a proud son, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will forever be missed by so many extended family and friends.

Don’s girls would like to say thank you on behalf of our family for the hundreds of messages. We truly appreciate all of the respect, admiration and love you have given Dad. Each of you have touched his heart making lasting memories that he takes with him as he rides amongst the stars.

There will be a Memorial Ride on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11 a.m.  The ride will be starting at 121 Ferguson Tetlock Road, Smiths Falls, On K7A 4S4.  The Celebration of Life will take place back at 121 Ferguson Tetlock Road, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
