We extend our deepest sympathy to Nancy and the family on the death of your beloved Peter. We spent many happy years at McCreary's Beach and have so many happy memories of our time there. Some of our happiest times were arriving at the campsite on Friday nights and meeting up with all the campers who would gather in the hall for the roast beef dinners. We made life long friends during our 32 years of camping at McCreary's Beach. Peter was never too busy to stop for a chat. He and his team made McCreary's the best family campground in the area.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Ah, Peter, how I fondly recall those late teen and early 20's times we had at CPHS and McCreary Beach - the jokes we shared and chatter we enjoyed as we strolled Lake Avenue and splashed on the beach. I have always thought of you as the best of friends.
To Peter's family, thanks for your welcome when Bev and I dropped in at the Beach one hot summer day. It was great to meet you. May all your happy thoughts of Peter carry you through this difficult time.

Working at McCreay’s Beach with Peter and family was many years ago, but the great memories will last a life time. Peter was a Teacher, Leader, and a Mentor to many. Simply the BEST boss a young lad could have. Thanks Peter.

To The Teeple family
I taught at Highland Park with Peter in the Commercial Food Prep Area. He was very often drawing a plan about a project at McCreary Beach. I had not realized that he was that much older than I but back at that time age was not important as we all had plans and a whole future ahead of us. I remember he lived in Richmond. It was a real pleasure to know and work with Peter, he was a great teacher and always had time for students and staff. My sympathy to the whole family and I am sure that great memories will get your through this difficult time. Nancy Grundy

My sincere sympathy to you Nancy, Bonnie and your family. Pete loved his family deeply and he will be missed by both friends and family members. My memories of Pete and McCreary’s Beach go back many decades and all are fondly remembered. I am living in AB now but if I still had my trailer I would miss seeing Pete working outside his house as I drove to my trailer. I would often stop and chat and he was always so willing to take a break and chat with me. Bev Tremblay

Dear Nancy and Family,
I have such incredible memories of Peter (and of course Helen!) from McCreary's Beach. What an amazing honour and pleasure I had to be able to work at McCreary's. What an adventure and truly was one of the very best times of my life. Peter displayed such tenacity and dedication to his guests, and his drive for excellence ensuring they had the best vacation experience! He always had a pencil behind his ear and usually a hammer in hand as he constantly was thinking of the next project! One of my best takeaways from working with Peter was his "To Do" list. He sat down every morning and scribed the list. To this very day, I still create my "To Do" list.
Please accept my most sincere thoughts of sympathy and prayers to all of the family during this difficult time. Trusting that the outpouring of love from family and friends provides comfort. I shall always remember the fond memories of McCrearys...Godspeed...

Nancy & family,
So very sorry to hear of the passing of Pete. As my Uncle Arnie said so many family memories that include Pete. Helen was great friends with my Grandmother who started renting cottages at McCreary’s I believe in the 1940’s. Personally myself I can remember doing the walk to McCreary’s Beach to see who was there, at the time there was bench stairs where we all hung out in the 1970’s. The famous walking Bonnie home labour day weekend, is likely something I will never forget. Nancy our campsites were so close I can remember you walking over to start working as a teen at McCreary’s. Pete always had a smile, would stop to talk to you. Being at the lake during our childhood we had the chance on lifetime friendships. May your memories give you peace and you feel his love surrounding you during this difficult time.
