We are saddened to hear of the passing of Aunt Dorothy. We have wonderful memories of the family get-togethers, and the times we got to spend with her. So sorry to hear of Dorothy’s passing. Mom and her became friends instantly. She talked about her often and missed her when she moved. She was a little spitfire. Chris and I enjoyed our afternoon visits with her and mom and dad on the deck ❤️

When the matriarch of a family dies it is always of great significance. Your life was an inspiration. You taught me strength and resilience. You taught me how to not cry over spilled milk - both figuratively and literally. A lesson that I have passed on to your great grandchildren. You live on in our blood and in our memories. I am so happy to have had the privilege to see you again a few weeks ago. You looked well & happy. What more could one ask for then the legacy that you have left behind. I will share you with my children & teach what has been passed on from you. I feel blessed to have you for so long & I wish you all the blessings in your next journey. I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one Dorothy was my Supervisor at the GWM Hospital when employed in the kitchen back in the day. She worked with my Sister at theLodge for years Donna Corbett last time I saw her was at the Legion in June of 2015 at my Brother's celebration of life. May she rest in peace with the angels.
