Erwin, Dorothy Elizabeth (nee Ramsbottom)
Dorothy passed away suddenly in her home at Carolina Retirement Living on Friday, September 8th, 2023 at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her parents Russell and Ethel (McIntosh) Ramsbottom, her beloved husband John, brothers Ed, Jim, Gordon and Keith and grandson Shawn Parks.
Dorothy was the loved mother to Ruth (Roger) Stafford, Larry (Anne Marie) Parks, Robert (Sally) Parks, Donna (Gary) Parks and Hughie (Nancy) Parks and grandmother to Kelly (Shane), Hailey (Joe), Greg (Josie), Darcy (Johanna), Kyle (Ashley), Colleen (Rylan), Graham, Erica (Ryan), Kennedy and Caleb and cherished great grandmother of seven. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Ethel Melbourne, Cecil Ramsbottom and Helen Peters.
Dorothy was a Health Care Aide at Lanark Lodge for many years, she loved golfing, dancing, bingo and playing slots at the casino. She was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxilary and was famous for her home made pies and buns
A private graveside service will be held at Pinehurst Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
