Fred had a vast knowledge of Lanark County, in particular it's nature and woods. He was a skilled craftsman and a good human being with a big heart. I always enjoyed dropping into his shop for a chat and catch up. I will miss his friendship. My sympathy and thoughts go out to his family and friends.
