Cotten, Ross Elmer

Ross E. Cotten passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 14th, 2024 in his 84th year. Survived by wife Maureen (Finner) in their 60th year of marriage, his children Ross (Laurie), Steven (Kristina) and Cheryl. Grandfather to David (Katrina), Bradley, Ali and Tori.

Predeceased by his parents Elmer and Grace, his brother Douglas (late Ruby) Cotten and sister Joyce (Ray) Sarles. He will be missed by sisters Shirley (late Harley)  Blackburn and Joan (Lloyd) Sheldrick and his brother-in-law Ray (Linda).

Ross had a long career at Taggart Service Limited in the accounting department  and then moved to Highland Communications in Port Elmsley until his retirement in 2005. More recently, he drove for A&B Ford doing what he enjoyed the most and that was driving cars.

Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore Street W., Perth on Monday, May 20th, 2024 from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held at St. John the Baptist Church, Perth on Tuesday, May 21st at 10:00 A.M. followed by a reception at the Blair & Son Family Centre. Internment will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery in Almonte at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Perth Hospital Foundation and the Kingston General Hospital in memory of Ross would be appreciated.
