We always looked forward to visits from Aunt Maureen , Uncle Ron and family. They always came bearing treats and more kids to play with.. The girls were also treated to dresses, that she had sewn herself. Aunt Maureen never played favourites. We were all treated the same. I will always remember the road trip that Aunt Maureen, Aunt Eleanor, Judy and myself went on. A road trip to Ted and JP's wedding, in Belleville. She pointed out the places that were important to her, when she lived in Belleville. A lot of laughs were had. Every Christmas, my family has received a Christmas card without fail. She made baby quilts for everyone over the years. A gift we all looked forward to getting. Sincerest condolences to the Terwilligar family on the loss of your mother, and to all that loved and respected her.
