Obituary of Maureen Blanche Terwilligar

Passed away peacefully at Broadview Nursing Centre, Smiths Falls on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at the age of 93.  She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Terwilligar and also predeceased by her second husband Stefan Jankowski.  Maureen was the loving and devoted mother of Diane Mandeville (Murray), Glen, Vernon and Robert Terwilligar. Cherished grandmother of Devin, Mark (Melissa), Adam, Sarah (Chris), Christopher (Chantal), Kelly (Ryan), Jonathan, Brock (Jessica) and Danika (Josh); and proud great-grandmother of James, Jack, Mikayla, Matthew and Jeremy.  She will be sadly missed by her siblings Eleanor Sergeant (Otto) and Arnold Horne (Linda), as well as her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Maureen is also predeceased by her parents Albert and Kathleen (nee Bushfield), her siblings Betty, Archie, Albert, Ken, Jean, Donna, Winston and Jack.  The entire family would like to extend a special thank you to Alaina Parsons and the entire staff at Broadview Nursing Centre for their outstanding care and concern for Maureen during her time living there. All are welcome to pay their respects at Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Saturday, January 4, 2024 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service in the Chapel at 12 noon.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemtery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Hub or the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation.
