McVeety, Robert Chapman In hospital, Smiths Falls on Sunday, August 26th, 2012, Robert McVeety (retired from Nortel) at the age of 79 years. Robert was the son of the late Margaret Chapman and Simon McVeety; he will be sadly missed by his cherished wife Elaine (Hennigar) McVeety, children Kevin (Chantal Levesque) and Janice McVeety (Brian Duffy), grandchildren Dominic and Mathieu McVeety and Lauren and Kristen (fiancée Ahmed Sufian) Duffy, his cousins, family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St W., Perth Tuesday August 28th, 2012 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. Interment will take place later in Rideau Ferry Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
